The images from Morocco were taken during a 2008 work shop with David Muench, world renowned nature photographer. Except for being pick-pocketed the first day in Fes, it was a fabulous experience.

Berber Men with Blue Door, Fes, Morocco
It seemed to me that the men spent much of their time at leisure, while the women were hard at work in the fields.

Elephants and Acacia, Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
The Tanzania images were taken during a 2009 work shop with Todd Gustafsson, renowned wild life photographer. It was a life time experience to be able to photograph these wild animals, especially the cheetah with her three cub.

The Lion King, Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
During my two weeks in Tanzania I had one opportunity to photograph a male lion. During the day they sleep most of the time. This one was also sleeping but woke up for about four seconds!

Cheetah Family, Ndutu National Park, Tanzania
She is such a good mother, always on the alert. As they compete for the same food source, a lion or a leopard will kill her and her cubs, but she is too fast for them, so they have to sneak up on her.

Cheetahs feeding, Ndutu National Park, Tanzania
We were able to observe this family three different times. The male was gone elsewhere. He is not a very good father!

Victoria Falls.
The Victoria Falls are the largest in the world, one mile wide and twice as tall as the Niagara Falls. The only way to get the full impact of its size is from the air, from a helicopter.

You really wonder where all the water is coming from.

The helicopter entered the gorge below the falls. What a thrill ride! Just like Star Wars!
